  • Can’t recommend Island Soul enough. From the moment we walked in, the warm welcome and relaxed, inviting ambience set the tone for the evening. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every team member we interacted with made us feel taken care of. The food was truly outstanding, the seafood in particular was a standout, with each course somehow topping the last. Everything was beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and cooked perfectly. It’s rare to find a place where the flavors, pacing, and atmosphere all come together so seamlessly, but this spot absolutely nailed it. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try on our next visit. Easily one of our best dining experiences in Seattle so far, and absolutely worth recommending to anyone who appreciates great food and great hospitality.

  • We ate inside, I love the atmosphere. The drink was delicious and strong. The jerk wings were moist and tasty. The plantains were perfect. The curry chicken was so great we wanted more. We also ordered catfish, mac n cheese, and more curry chicken to go. We will be back. Sooooo Good!

  • FYI: This place is 21 years and up! You need to be 21 years old, so bring your ID!!!***** We had to order take out and the restaurant staff was really nice about it, and explained how the rules are strict about the IDs for a valid reason. Plantains were AMAZING. Best plantains ever. Can’t miss out. The tostones were so good!!! Garlicky, savory, crunchy, great texture. Highly recommend. Jerk chicken was really good. Vatapa was alright, I wouldn’t recommend it :) If you get a burger or sandwich, the jerk mayo is bomb. Def recommend to dip fries with the jerk mayo!

  • Yummy ox tail and fresh home made drinks the fruit punch was ok and the serrel tea was sweet it reminds me of hibiscus the fried fish was ok too! The atmosphere was like a mini lounge loud 2000s music and the chairs wasn’t as comfy it’s all wood but bathroom was clean. Manager was chill our waiter was seemed busy but it was not super crowded. We enjoyed our Caribbean food overall

  • On a random Thursday night, I popped into this gem. I live in Magnolia and was in the area for my daughters softball practice. The bartender was welcoming and friendly, and made me a me fantastic rum cocktail. The jerk chicken wings were some of the best wings that I have ever had, and the atmosphere was energetic. I would be a regular if i lived closer! Either way, I can't wait for the next time I am in the area! Thank you Island Soul!

  • Some of the best food I've had. I'm really glad I got the gumbo. I haven't had gumbo in a few years and this was perfect. It was seasoned enough that I didn't need to use extra table spices but I can also see how some people might want an extra kick. (If you don't like a lot of heat, don't get the gumbo. You're missing out, but you like what you like). Watch out for the code for the bathroom, you need it to access the bathroom. It's spacious and clean. I didn't look out for kid friendly utilities (apologies). I loved the sorrel punch. No notes. The hosts were hospitable and made sure we had food and water constantly re-filled. The tables by the window have some storage bins that can be rolled out. I used this in place of the absent bag hooks. The storage bins can house purses and coats.

  • I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend to try the mac and with oxtail on top and the oxtail stew. I wanna come back to try more dishes and the server Kyle really set the vibes. I love how the old heads from the old hood still come through so it doesn't have the gentrification feel. You gotta go check it out!
